Product description

1964 Garden State Parkway Highway Map and Directory of Exits issued by the New Jersey Highway Authority. The governor at the time was Richard J. Hughes

Side 1 of the map includes several smaller maps: an "upside down" map for southbound driving, a northbound driving map, maps of the New York metropolitan area, and Newark areas.

Side 2 has a directory of all of the exits on the parkway (helpful when you need to answer the question "What Exit?"), a list of places to go in New Jersey, toll information, regulations and emergency service info, and an article on the history of the Garden State Parkway.  On the right side there is a 18.5" x 4" "send help" sign to put in your car window if you're stranded on the parkway.

The map folds out to a size of approximately 24" x 18.5".

The map is in excellent condition.
