Vintage 10-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the early 1980's advertising The Great Grizzly Bear restaurant on Geyer Ave in the Soulard section of St. Louis, Missouri. The restaurant originally opened in 1978 and is still operating.
The front cover of the matchbook has the restaurant's bear paw logo and says "located in historic Soulard". The strike side has the restaurant's name, address, and phone number. The inside of the matchbook is blank.
The matchbook was manufactured by Universal Match, St. Louis.
The matchbook cover is in very good condition. It is empty and there are no matches, and the strike pad appears to be unused. (see photos).
