Fold out brochure for the November 1973 to November 1974 cruises aboard the Greek Line ships tss Olympia and tss Queen Anna Maria. The brochure was printed in the U.S.A.
Greek Line's '73-'74 cruises sailed to Bermuda, the Caribbean, South America, Bahamas, Scenic Canada, Nowhere, and the Mediterranean. The cruises departed from New York, Boston, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Norfolk.
The brochure has photos and descriptions of the two ships, a description of life aboard the ships and the cruises, sailing schedules, and room rates.
Condition: the brochure is in very good condition. The sailing schedule has writing on it (by the travel agent) noting that several February 1974 cruises were cancelled (See photos)
Ship history: The 26,300 ton Queen Anna Maria sailed as the Empress of Britain for Canadian Pacific from 1955-1963 when it was sold to Greek Line and renamed the Queen Anna Maria. Carnival Cruises bought the ship in 1975 and renamed it the Carnivale and it sailed with them for 18 years until it was sold to Epirotiki in 1993. The ship spent its last years sailing as the Peace Boat from 2003-2008.
The 23,000 ton Olympia was operated by Greek Line from 1953-1981 when it was sold to Commodore Cruise Line and renamed the Caribe. It was sold again in 1993 and operated as the Regal Empress from 1993-2009.
