Vintage 1980's West German HO-scale Herpa (Herpa catalog no. 830 461) Kässbohrer Setra Doppelstockbus S 228 DT.  The double deck bus is made of plastic. It has a metallic gold body, clear windows, brown seats on both the top and lower decks, a black chassis, and gold and brown stripes on the sides.

The gold paint job with stripes was Kässbohrer's official factory demonstration livery used by the company to promote the S 228DT buses.

The bus is 1:87 scale and is approximately 140mm / 5 1/2" inches long  . Made in West Germany in 1987.

Condition: The bus is in near mint condition with one small scratch on the underside of the black chassis (see photos).  The box is in overall very good condition with some light shelf wear mainly on the edges (see photos).
