Vintage Hot Wheels “Park ’n Plates” Porsche 959 from 1989, sealed on original card with collectable license plate and hard clear plastic "garage". This is a rare variation of the Park 'n Plates Porsche with UltraHots, blue interior, and clear windows.
The diecast metal car features a white body with red and blue stripes on the sides roof and hood, 'Porsche 959' graphics on the sides and 'Porsche' on the hood, UltraHots wheels, blue interior, clear windows, and metal chassis.
The car is 1/64 scale and is 70mm / 2 3/4" long. The car was made in Malaysia in 1989.
The hard thick plastic license plate has a chrome frame and blue license plate that says 'Hot Wheels Porsche" on the plate. The plate measures 3 3/8" x 2" x 1/4" (86mm x 51mm x 6mm).
The clear thick hard plastic display "garage" is 3 1/2" x 2" x 1/4"(89mm x 51mm x 6mm).
Condition: Car is mint and factory-sealed. There are a couple of very light blue marks above the rear wheel that appear to be factory paint or tampo printing.
The blister card shows light shelf wear, a few small dents in the plastic blister, and some old price sticker residue near the top (see photos).
Notes for collectors: Park ’n Plates sets were only available for a short time and each included a diecast vehicle with a matching collectible license plate. This Porsche variation with the blue interior and clear windows is a scarcer combination than the black-interior, or blue interior/blue tinted window versions.
