Early 1940's linen postcard showing The Hotel Brunswick at the corner of E Chestnut St and N Queen St in Lancaster Pennsylvania.
The hotel was built in 1914, and the Beaux Arts style building was enlarged in 1925 by extending the building on the Chestnut side and adding a ballroom dance hall. The hotel closed in 1964, and in 1967 the building and the other buildings on the block were demolished as part of an urban renewal project.
The card is a "Genuine Curteich-Chicago C.T. Art-Colortone postcard" .
The card is unused and in very good condition.
