Early 1940's linen postcard showing ships docked at piers in the 50-mile long Houston Ship Channel which connects Houston to the Gulf of Mexico.

The card was published by the Chas. Epstein Co., Houston, TX.

The back of the postcard has a vintage small map of the Houston area glued to it, and an used Sam Houston 5 cent US postal stamp (USPS issued the Sam Houston stamps in 1964). See photos.
