1990's promotional lighter for the Norwegian owned Ivaran Lines passenger/freighter container ship M/V San Antonio. Plastic Bic disposable lighter, 3 1/4" x 1" x 3/8" (83mm x 25mm x 10mm).
The lighter has the Ivaran Lines logo on one side and the company's 'C' flag and the ship name 'San Antonio' on the other side.
The lighter is empty (non working) and non refillable. The white plastic has some minor yellowing due to age.
The 16,043 ton M/V San Antonio was built for Ivaran in 1994. It was sold to KS Clover Container Ship in 2000 and in 2002 renamed the Indamex New York. It was sold to Abbeyfield Trading in 2003 and renamed the Delmas Charcot. In 2004 it was sold to Azurro Maritime and renamed the Asia Star.
