Late 1940's/early 1950's real photo postcard showing the J.L. Hudson Company department store on Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit Michigan.
J.L. Hudson was founded in 1881. Hudson's flagship store on Woodward at one time was the tallest department store in the world, and the second largest store in terms of square footage. The Woodward flagship closed in 1983 and the building was demolished in 1998.
