Vintage 30-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the late 1970's advertising La Brasserie French Cafe restaurant which was located at 202 South Main St. in Orange, California
The fine dining restaurant opened in 1976 and specialized in gourmet French cuisine and continental cuisine. The restaurant closed in 2007 when the owner retired.
The front cover and strike side of the matchbook have the restaurant's name and logo. The front cover also has the phone number and address and says "reservations suggested". The strike side says "cocktails, luncheon, dinner, banquets". The inside has a basic location map.
The matchbook cover is in very good condition . It is empty and there are no matches, and the strike pad appears to be unused (see photos).
