The toy car is based on the "real life" Tony Rudd designed BRM P261 Formula One race car that made its debut in 1964. Race car driver Jackie Stewart won several races using the P261.
The race car is 1/64 scale, 70mm / 2 3/4 inches long. Made in England by Lesney Products in 1965.
The car is in excellent to near mint condition with a couple of very tiny paint chips on the front edge of the nose cone.
