Synopsis: Liberty Meadows #27 is a humorous collection of new material from Frank Cho’s popular Liberty Meadows strip, featuring the eccentric staff and animals of the Liberty Meadows animal sanctuary. Brandy makes her first trip to a comic-book convention with Frank and the others, where her attempt to meet various comic creators quickly turns into a chaotic disaster. The issue continues the series’ mix of slapstick comedy, pop-culture jokes, and the ongoing romantic tension between Frank and Brandy.

A second storyline centers on Ralph, the diminutive circus bear, who becomes determined to reclaim the world record for the fastest airborne animal. With the assistance of Jen, an attractive NASA engineer, Ralph prepares an increasingly outrageous experiment that inevitably fits the offbeat, anything-goes humor of Liberty Meadows. Issue #27 is also notable as the first issue distributed by Image Comics, although the series continued to be produced by Frank Cho.

Condition: The comic is in very fine plus condition.  It has a tiny barely noticable 1/4" dogear crease/dent on the bottom left corner tip edge  (see photos).
