Vintage 2-panel 2-sided paper takeout menu from around 2007 for Mama's Food Shop restaurant which was located at 200 E 3rd St near the corner of Avenue B  in the East Village / Alphabet City section of Manhattan's Lower East Side, New York City

The restaurant opened in 1997 and closed in 2012 due to rising rents and property taxes, and changing demographics caused by hypergentrification in the East Village.

The restaurant was known for its huge portions of Southern Comfort Food.  The fried chicken and meatloaf were both great. They also offered a wide selection of vegetable sides, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, chocolate banana bread pudding, and apple cobbler that were all available by the 1/2 pint or pint .

The menu is 8.5" x 3.75" (216mm x 95mm) folded and approximately 8.5" x 11" (216mm x 279mm) when opened.

Condition: The menu is in very good condition.  It has a small 1/2" light stain on the back cover near the top, and a very light crease  (see photos).
