Vintage promotional wooden safety matches matchbox from the early 1990's for Mikaku Japanese Restaurant which was located at 67 Liberty St in the Financial District in lower Manhattan, New York City.
The matchbook has the restaurant name and logo and address on one side, and the other side has a cartoon drawing of a man and a woman and the man saying "The merody is a snap, miss. The ryrics take some study" . The phone number is on the side of the box.
The matchbox and strike pad are unused and the box is in very good condition (see photos).
