1968 Montreal Tourist Map from Morgan's Department Store. The map folds out to a size of 18"x16" (457mm x 406mm)
An illustrated detailed map of Montreal shows the location of the main tourist attractions (universities, cathedrals, monuments, and other attractions), and Montreal Metro subway stops.
The map also has a description of the Man And His World attraction (the successor to Expo '67), and there is a walking tour of Ville Marie - Old Montreal with descriptions of the sites.
A second map of the Montreal area shows the location of the 5 Morgan's Department Store branches, and there is a 2-panel large page showing the main departments and features of shopping at Morgan's. The back cover has a description of Morgan's Canadiana Shop.
The map is in excellent condition.
Morgan's Department Store was founded in 1845 in Montreal and at one time had 11 branches in Quebec and Ontario. It was acquired by the Hudson Bay Co. in 1960 and the 5 Quebec stores were renamed The Bay in 1972.
