Vintage 30-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the 1980's advertising Mr. Stox restaurant which was located at 1105 E Katella Ave in Anaheim, California,
Mr Stox opened in 1968 and was noted for its formal fine dining atmosphere and classic American cuisine. It closed in March 2013 to make way for an apartment complex development.
The front cover and strike side of the matchbook have the restaurant's name and logo. The inside says "Mr Stox Lunch-Dinner - Cocktails" and has the hours of operation, address, and phone number.
The matchbook cover is in very good condition . It is empty and there are no matches, and the strike pad appears to be unused (see photos).
