The brochure also has the 1998 fare and schedule information from May to December for the trip and special events (Fireworks Special on July 4th, Christmas Train, Halloween Special, Thomaston Car Show, and more). The back cover has a map and directions to the train.

The Naugatuck Railroad resumed operations in 1996 after shutting down most of its operations in the 1960's and '70s. It currently operated the Thomaston-Waterville scenic train as well as 20 miles of freight service from Torrington CT to Waterbury CT.
