Vintage 30-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the early 1990's for the Nevada Hotel and Casino was was located on I-15 in Jean Nevada near the California/Nevada border. 

The 300+ room hotel and casino was built to resemble a showboat and opened in 1989.  It closed in 2007 and the building was demolished the following year.  The hotel was owned by Gold Strike Resorts (which also owned the nearby Gold Strike Hotel) when it opened.  It was sold to Circus Circus in 1995.

The front cover has the hotel logo and name, and the strike side cover has an illustration of a showboat and says "We Specialize in Fun & Excitement".  The inside of the cover lists the features of the hotel and casino.

The matchbook cover is empty and there are no matches, the strike pad appears to be unused. The matchbook is in very good condition (see photos).
