Vintage sheet music from the early 1940's with lyrics for the hit song Night and Day, music and words written by Cole Porter in 1932 for his musical 1932.

Published in 1942 and printed in the U.S.A. by Harms Inc, New York. The sheet music booklet is 12" x 9" (305mm x 229mm). The booklet has 6 pages (including the back cover).

The front cover has a photo of a young Frank Sinatra who first recorded the song in 1942 (he recorded it 5 times during his career).  Fred Astaire first popularized the song in 1932.  Other artists to have hits with the song included Billie Holiday, Bing Crosby, Sergio Mendes and Brasil '66, Everything But The Girl, and U2.

The back cover has an ad for the "Magic Melody" series of songbooks from the publisher Remick Music.

Condition: the sheet music booklet is in overall very good condition. It has a small 1/4" tear on the right edge, and light wear on the corner tips (see photos).
