Product Description

Vintage North Central Airlines memorabilia from Toronto to Detroit flight no. 347 (a Convair CV-580) on October 3, 1970 which departed from gate 20 in Toronto. Included are a combination gate pass/ticket folder (empty, no ticket inside) with a baggage claim check stapled to the folder inside.

The folder has the gate pass on the outside, and inside are a pocket for a ticket (no ticket included), useful information/carry-on baggage regulations, and a listing of North Central ticket offices.  The baggage claim check is for the destination city Detroit.  The back of the folder has an ad for Hertz.

The gate pass/baggage claim items are used but in overall good condition (see photos).

Airline history: The airline started in 1944 as Wisconsin Central and changed its name to North Central in 1952. North Central merged with Southern Airways in 1979 and was renamed Republic airlines (which merged into Northwest in 1986).
