The brochure was printed in West Germany in July 1961.

Ship History: The 538 ft long 9,000 to Passenger-Cargo Liners were built in 1953-54 and had accommodations for 86 passengers.

The six ships were sold by NGL and HAL in 1967 to United Overseas Export Lines in Monrovia for Asia service and they were renamed Oriental Ruler (Schwabenstein), Oriental Musician (Hessenstein), Oriental Lady (Bayernstein), Oriental Warrior (Hamburg), Oriental Hero (Frankfurt), and Oriental Inventor (Hannover).

The Oriental Warrior (Hamburg) caught fire after an engine room explosion and sank in 1972.  The other 5 ships were scrapped in 1979.
