Product description

Vintage 4-panel 2-sided paper takeout menu from the early 2000's for the East Village restaurant / bar Odessa Cafe Bar which was located at 117 Avenue A between E 7th St and St Marks Place in the Alphabet City section of Manhattan, New York City

The 24 hour Ukrainian restaurant and bar opened in 1965 and closed in August 2013 after its landlord raised the rent 50% amidst the area's hypergentrification.

The restaurant specialized in Ukrainian specialties like homemade pirogies and blintzes, potato pancakes, challah bread, kielbasa and stuffed cabbage, as well as a wide selection of basic American diner comfort food like burgers, eggs and omelettes, seafood, Reuben sandwiches, all at affordable prices.  It was also a popular late night neighborhood bar on weekends.

The menu is in very good condition. The menu is 11" x 4.25" folded (and approximately 11" x 17" when opened).
