Late 1910's postcard showing the Old Tolbooth on High St. in Kirkcudbright Scotland.
The Tolbooth was built in 1627-29 and served as the town's administrative building and prison. Prisoners in the prison included people accused of witchcraft, Covenanters, and American naval commander John Paul Jones.
