16-page full color brochure for the 1982 and 1983 Society Expeditions rail tours by private train from Paris- Istanbul - Paris aboard the fabled Orient Express train. The tours were offered in 120day eastbound and westbound segments

Society Expeditions recreated the feeling of the  original 1,800 mile rail journey from Paris to Istanbul by restoring original Orient Express train cars from the 1920's and 1930's.

The brochure describes the luxury train trip and the history of the Orient Express route which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1983. The brochure describes the 15 train cars used for the 1983 Orient Express trips and their history.

The brochure also has photos and descriptions of the service, cuisine, and daily activities on the trains. The brochure lists day by day activities, fares, descriptions of the cities visited, and general passenger information.
