Synopsis: Our Animal Friends, published in 1956, is an early reader designed to introduce young children to a variety of familiar animals and the ways they live alongside people. Through simple, engaging text and colorful illustrations, the book explores the characteristics, habits, and usefulness of both pets and farm animals, encouraging children to appreciate the unique qualities of each animal and the care they require.

Condition: The book's covers have considerable wear along the edges, with the heaviest cover wear at the top and bottom of the spine.  The front cover has a mark from a price stiicker on the bottom right, and the back cover has a scrape/damage at the top.  The inside pages have some yellowing from age but are otherwise in very good condition with no marks, tears, or creases.
