Our Dumb Animals magazine, December 1941 Christmas issue, volume 74, number 12. 20 pages. Published by the Massachusetts Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals (MSPCA) and the American Human Education Society. Editor Guy Richardson.

Our Dumb Animals was published by the MSPCA from June 1868 until March 1970. The magazine featured short articles on animals from wildlife to pets, animal welfare news and humane education.  The motto of the magazine was "We Speak For Those Who Cannot Speak For Themselves".

This issue includes a Christmas editorial, a Children's page, and many short articles including "The Remarkable Water Buffalo", "Zoo Animals Christmas", "Famous Actress Katherine Cornell Has Her Dog Treated At Angell Animal Hospital", "Pets As Christmas Gifts", "Merry Christmas To The Birds", "The Pigeon Is Drafted", "Atlantic City Honors Mongrel Dog", "Speaking Of Dogs", "The Amusing And Useful Cat", "Feline Samaritans", and several others.  The issue also includes MSPCA updates and news, a veterinary column, and some vintage ads from local Massachusetts businesses.

Condition: the magazine is in very good condition with very light wear on the edges (see photos).
