Pez "Pete the Pilot" Air Force Pilot candy dispenser from the 2003 Emergency Heroes series.   The base has U.S. patent no. 5,984,285 and the dispenser was made in China.

The Emergency Heroes dispensers were issued to honor 9-11 first responders and rescuers.  The 9 dispensers in the series included an Air Force Pilot ("Pete the Pilot"), Firefighter, Policeman, Policewoman, Nurse, Navy Seal, Army Ranger, Construction Worker, and a K-9 Rescue Dog.

The dispenser has a blue colored base and feet. The pilot has a tan face and is wearing a blue  and red helmet with a yellow tinted visor, and an olive green oxygen mask

The Pilot dispenser is approximately 4 1/4" long from base to top of head.  The head tilts back to dispense and load candy.

The dispenser is in mint condition in its original sealed package with two packs of Pez Candy: Lemon and Grape flavors (see photos).
