Pez Odie the dog from the Garfield the Cat comic strip Candy Dispenser, made in Slovenia in 1998. The base has U.S. patent no. 4,966,305.
The dispenser has a light green colored base and feet, white head with huge brown ears and giant red dog tongue, black nose, and white eyes with black pupils.
The dog is approximately 4 3/4" long from base to top of the big ears. The head tilts back to dispense and load candy, and the spring mechanism for the candy dispenser works well.
The dispenser is in excellent working condition with no noticeable flaws (see photos).
