Continental sized (4"x6" / 102mm x 152mm) chrome postcard from the late 1980's showing the Princess Cruises ship ss Dawn Princess.

The card is unused.  It has a slight warp/bend on the right side (see photos).

From the back of the card: "The luxury ships of the Princess Cruises fleet are Star Princess, Royal Princess, Sky Princess, Island Princess, Pacific Princess, Dawn Princess, Fair Princess, and Sea Princess".

The Dawn Princess was originally built as the RMS Sylvania for Cunard Lines and sailed with Cunard from 1955-1968. The ship was sold to Sitmar Cruises in 1968 and renamed the Fairwind.  Sitmar was purchased by P&O / Princess Cruises in 1988 and the ship was renamed the Dawn Princess. The ship was sold in 1993 and renamed Albatros and sailed with Phoenix Reisen until 2003 when it was broken up
