Very early issue of the anarcho-punk fanzine Profane Existence, issue #7, December 1989 (the front cover was printed with a typo and shows 'December 1999'), 40 printed pages (printed on recycled newsprint).
The long running influential Minneapolis anarcho punk collective Profane Existence was formed in 1989, and in addition to the punkzine also runs a record label. The fanzine focused on the anarcho punk and crust punk scene and related political issues including squatting.
The cover has an illustration "Revolutionary of the Year: Bart Simpson" (and inside it says the cover is a joke).
This issue has interviews with the bands Oi Polloi, Neuosis, and Exit 13, and articles on political prisoners, Italian anarchists, alternative birth control, and a Hamburg squatters report.
P.E. #7 also includes the zine's regular features: a gig directory, ecomedia report, prisoner page, letters to the editor, columns, and reviews of music releases and other zines.
This issue also has punk ads from the period including the Matinee at ABC No Rio, Atavistic, Nausea's west coast tour, Squat Or Rot,
Condition: The punkzine is in very condition with minor yellowing on the cover edges due to age, and small light 1/4" dogear creases on the back cover's left corner tips (see photos)..
