Vintage 30-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the 1970's for the Mapes Motor Hotel and its adjoining Money Tree Reno Casino in downtown Reno Nevada. The hotel and casino both closed in 1982. The hotel at one time was the largest in Reno.
The front cover has the Mapes hotel logo, and the strike side cover has the Money Tree Reno logo. The inside of the cover lists the features of the hotel and casino.
The matchbook cover is empty and there are no matches, the strike pad appears to have been used, and the matchbook shows some signs of wear and yellowing due to age. (see photos).
