Vintage promotional matchbox from the 1980's advertising The Ritz-Carlton Hotel at 112 Central Park South and its bar/restaurant The Jockey Club

Printed on the front of the matchbook is 'The Ritz-Carlton New York - Home Of The Jockey Club'. The back of the matchbook has the Ritz-Carlton emblem.  Printed on the inside is the hotel address, and the phone numbers for the hotel and Jockey Club.

The matchbook is in very good condition. All matches are intact and the "strike pad" is unstruck (see photos).

The building at 112 Central Park South was built in 1927.  Ritz-Carlton operated a hotel at the address from 1982 to 1997.  The building was converted to a luxury co-op apartment building in 2006.
