Synopsis: A family, the Newmans, who has recently moved into a new house in the woods, is repeatedly bothered by a mischievous raccoon. Every night, the raccoon comes and gets into their garbage, creating a mess.

To solve the problem, the family decides to leave a T.V. dinner outside the window specifically for the raccoon. The plan is a success: the raccoon begins eating the dinner left out for him and, in the process, stops to watch television through the window with the family inside. The raccoon gets a meal, the family is entertained by its antics, and their garbage is finally left alone.

It’s based on a real experience the author’s family had, and through the story, readers learn about raccoon behavior and other woodland animals.

Condition: the book is in overall very good condition.  The price is crossed out with marker on the top right of the front cover, and there is very light wear on the edges at the top and bottom of the spine cover, but the book is otherwise in excellent condition with no marks on the inside pages (see photos).
