Vintage 10-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the 1960's advertising the Sea Horse Restaurant which was located at 707 Front St. in Mukilteo, Washington.
The upscale seafood restaurant opened in 1955 and featured a lounge, live music, a full bar, nautical decor, and live sea horses in a large aquarium tank. The restaurant was sold in 1994 and replaced by Buzz Inn. The building was demolished in 2009 to make way for a parking lot for the nearby ferry.
The front cover of the matchbook has the the restaurant logo and name. The strike side says "Lunch - Dinner - Sunday Brunch - Cocktails - Dancing - Happy Hours" and it has the restaurant's location and phone number. The inside of the matchbook is blank.
The matchbook cover is in very good condition. It is empty and there are no matches, and the strike pad appears to be unused. (see photos).
