Synopsis: When a B-17 is shot down over the Atlantic, Sgt. Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos are sent on a rescue mission—and learn that their own Corporal “Dum-Dum” Dugan was aboard the bomber. Unfortunately, Dum-Dum and several other survivors have already been captured by the crew of the dreaded Nazi raider Sea Shark. Rather than wait helplessly for rescue, Dum-Dum takes matters into his own hands, devising a daring escape plan from aboard the enemy vessel.
With the other prisoners, Dum-Dum captures a Nazi sailor, uses a disguise to move through the ship, and plants an explosive charge in the armory. As the prisoners fight their way toward freedom, Dum-Dum warns the German crew that their ship is about to blow up. The survivors escape just before the Sea Shark is destroyed, and Fury and the Howlers arrive in time to reunite with their missing comrade and take the remaining Nazi sailors prisoner.
