Vintage 2-panel 2-sided paper takeout menu from the early 2000's for the East Village bar / restaurant / live music venue SideWalk Cafe which was located at 94 Avenue A on the corner of E 6th St in the Alphabet City section of Manhattan, New York City
SideWalk opened in 1985 and closed in February 2019. The small venue was a hangout for locals and a place to see an eclectic mix of performers including anti-folk, alternative comedians, open mic nights, and poetry slams. Beck, Lana Del Rey, and an assortment of local bands and amateurs played the venue.
The menu in the early aughts featured a mix of burgers, vegetarian dishes, sandwiches, and an assortment of entrees from chicken to pasta.
The menu is in very good condition. It has circles around a couple of items on the burgers and pie sections (see photos). The menu is 8.5" x 5.5" folded (and approximately 8.5" x 11" when opened).
