Product description

Vintage 3-panel 2-sided paper takeout menu from February 2003 for the now closed  Western themed diner restaurant Silver Spurs at 490 La Guardia Place and the corner of Houston near NYU in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York City.

Silver Spurs opened in 1979 and specialized in "colossal" 10 oz burgers and other American and Tex-Mex diner food and drinks.  The restaurant was known for its large portions and was a favorite hangout of NYU students and office workers.  It had 2 locations: 771 Broadway (the first location which opened in 1979) and the restaurant on La Guardia Pl which opened in 1996).  The Broadway location closed in 2013 and the La Guardia spot closed in March 2018.

The menu has all of the old favorites as well as a bit of humor: "Troublemakers will be severely handled with barbed wire and wet squirrels".

The menu is in very good condition (see photos).  The menu is 8.5" x 5" folded (and approximately 8.5" x 14" when opened).
