63 page 11"x8.5" full color brochure for the 1984 cruises to the Caribbean, Mexico, Panama Canal, and Canada / Alaska aboard Sitmar Cruises' ship Fairsky which made its debut in 1984, and the sister ships tss Fairwind and tss Fairsea.
The brochure includes descriptions and many photos of the Fairsea and Fairwind. Tthere are no photos of the Fairsky because the brochure was printed before the Fairsky made its maiden voyage in 1984.
The brochure also includes photos and descriptions of shipboard activities and food, photos and descriptions of ports of call, cruise schedules and itineraries, room rates, air sea rates, helpful info, cabin floor plans, and detailed deck plans for all 3 ships.
The brochure is in very good condition (see photos).
The Fairwind and Fairsea were originally built as the sister ships Sylvania and Carinthia for Cunard Lines and sailed with Cunard from 1955-1968. The ships were sold to P&O / Princess Cruises in 1988 and renamed the Dawn Princess and Fair Princess . The Fair Princess sailed with Princess until 2000 when it was sold and briefly became a casino ship named the China Sea Discovery before being broken up in 2005. The Dawn Princess was sold in 1993 and renamed Albatros and sailed with Phoenix Reisen until 2003 when it was broken up.
The Fairsky entered service in 1984. It was renamed Sky Princess in 1988 when P&O / Princess acquired Sitmar. It was transferred from Princess to P&O Australia in 2000 and renamed Pacific Sky. In 2006 it was sold and operated as the Sky Wonder for Pullmantur Cruises. The ship was renamed Atlantic Star in 2009 and scrapped in 2013.
