The timetable includes system wide train schedules,a system route map, railroad and pullman car rates and other special charges and rules, reference notes, a listing of Southern Railway officers representatives and agents, an index to stations with timetable reference and general passenger information.

The timetables also have info at the bottom of each schedule on the equipment and cars used on Southern Railway's trains including streamlined trains, reclining seat coaches, dining cars, dining-lounge cars, and sleeping cars.

Named trains operated by Southern Railways included The Southerner, The Crescent, Piedmont Limited, The Peach Queen, Birmingham Special, The Pelican, The Tennessean, Augusta Special, Asheville Special, Carolina Special, Ponce de Leon, and Royal Palm.

Condition: The schedule has some light wear on the edges but is in overall very good condition (see photos).
