3-panel 2-sided brochure for the  June 16th to September 3rd 1956 sailings from Toronto to Niagara-On-The-Lake and Queenston Ontario Canada aboard the Cayuga Steamship Company's ss Cayuga.

The brochure has a photo of the ship on the front cover and describes the 2 1/2 hour sailings across Lake Ontario on the ship, and highlights activities and scenery in the ports of call. The back cover has the 1956 summer sailing schedule and directions to reach the ship's dock in Toronto at the foot of Bay street.

The brochure is in excellent condition (see photos).

The 305 ft long, 2196 ton SS Cayuga was built in 1907 and had a capacity of 1,850 passengers (and below decks it carried cars and cargo). During its early years before autos were widely used it was the principal way to get from Toronto to Niagara Falls.  During its 53 year career it carried 15 million passengers.  The ship's amenities included a dining room, dance floor, lounge, and snack bar. The ship was scrapped in 1960.
