Product description

The Amazing Spider-man, issue 322, February 1990. Published by Marvel Comics, Vol.1, no. 329. From the cover: "Introducing the Tri-Sentinel.".

Synopsis: In The Amazing Spider-Man #329, Peter Parker is still dealing with the aftermath of the “Acts of Vengeance” storyline when his mysterious cosmic powers begin to fully manifest. Industrialist Sebastian Shaw manipulates scientist Dr. Lubisch into trying to siphon those powers, while Loki secretly combines three Sentinel robots into a massive “Tri-Sentinel” and sends it to destroy a nuclear power plant. After an encounter with Graviton, Spider-Man’s abilities suddenly evolve, transforming him into the cosmic-powered Captain Universe and revealing that he has been chosen by the Uni-Power to stop the looming disaster. Racing to the plant, Spider-Man battles the Tri-Sentinel, ultimately unleashing the full extent of his temporary cosmic abilities to destroy it and prevent a nuclear catastrophe. In the aftermath, the Uni-Power leaves him, returning him to normal but exhausted, and Peter reflects on the fleeting nature of such immense power before returning to his everyday life.

Condition: The comic is in very fine plus to near mint condition with barely noticeable very minor yellowing due to age of the interior pages (see photos).
