Product Description

The Badger, volume 1 issue number 2, published in 1983 by Capital Comics. Written by Mike Burns, artists Jeffrey Butler and Rick Burchett and Charles Truog, editor/art director Richard Bruning.

The adventures of Norbert Sykes, a Vietnam veteran, also known as The Badger. Created by writer Mike Baron and artist Jeff Butler, this issue expands on Badger’s complex character, combining elements of action, martial arts, and humor. In this issue, we see more of Norbert Sykes' erratic behavior due to his multiple personality disorder. He shifts between his various identities, including The Badger, a skilled martial artist and vigilante who often battles those who threaten animals or the environment. The comic's quirky humor and offbeat characters stand out, making it different from the typical superhero fare of the time. The plot revolves around The Badger becoming embroiled in a strange scheme involving a corrupt businessperson and animal abuse, setting up a series of confrontations where The Badger must fight to protect the innocent, including animals, with his unique sense of justice.

The comic book is in very fine/near mint condition.
