Vintage 30-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the 1990's advertising the now defunct The Front Page Restaurant & Grille which was located in the Robert S. Strauss Building at 1333 New Hampshire Ave N.W. on DuPont Circle in Washington D.C.
The restaurant/bar opened in 1987 and closed in 2019 when it was unable to renew its lease. The pub style restaurant was a favorite of DC young professionals.
The front cover and strike sides of the matchbook have the restaurant's name and logo. The strike side also has the restaurant's address. The inside of the matchbook is blank..
The matchbook cover is in very good condition . It is empty and there are no matches, and the strike pad appears to be unused (see photos).
