Synopsis:  The Missing Chums is the fourth book in the original Hardy Boys series, first published in 1928. Frank and Joe Hardy are enjoying summer activities with their friends Chet Morton and Biff Hooper when Chet and another friend, Jack, suddenly disappear. The boys soon discover that the disappearance may be connected to a series of suspicious events involving a mysterious automobile, stolen property, and a group of criminals operating in the area. Determined to find their missing friends, the Hardys begin piecing together the clues while trying to stay ahead of the dangerous men they are investigating.

Their search takes them through a series of adventures involving secret hiding places, nighttime investigations, and narrow escapes. As Frank and Joe uncover more evidence, they realize that the kidnappers are involved in a much larger criminal scheme than they first suspected. Using their courage, resourcefulness, and detective skills, the brothers work to locate the missing boys and bring the criminals to justice.

Condition: The book is in very good condition.  The front cover has a small 1/4" reddish mark near the bottom, and the covers have some light wear on the corner tips and top and bottom edge of the spine's tan tweed cover .  The inside pages are in excellent with no writing or creased pages, and the binding and spine are also in very good condition (see photos).
