Synopsis:  The 1965 revised version of The Great Airport Mystery is substantially different from the original 1930 story. Frank and Joe Hardy are drawn into a case involving the Stanwide Mining Equipment Company, whose cargo planes are being used to transport shipments containing valuable platinum-bearing electronic components. After a mysterious road accident nearly injures the boys, their father, detective Fenton Hardy, has them work undercover at Stanwide to investigate the missing equipment. When the thieves become suspicious, the boys leave their undercover jobs and begin an aerial investigation, only to have their camera and exposed film mysteriously stolen.

The investigation takes an increasingly mysterious turn when Frank and Joe encounter clues apparently connected to Clint Hill, a Stanwide pilot who was believed to have been killed in a plane crash. Following the trail leads the boys from a hidden cave containing stolen equipment to an uninhabited Caribbean island and eventually to a mountaintop in Montana, where they confront the criminals. The mystery ultimately comes full circle in Bayport, where the startling truth about Hill and the thefts is revealed. The 1965 revision is essentially a completely new story, replacing the original's plot about stolen airmail and the boys being framed for robbery.

Condition: The book is in very good condition.  The covers have some light wear on the corner tips, and some light wear on the bottom and top edges of the blue spine cover .  The inside pages are in excellent condition with no writing or creases, and the binding and spine are also in very good condition (see photos).
