Synopsis: In The Mystery of the Chinese Junk, the Hardy Boys—Frank and Joe—become involved in a puzzling case after they and their friend Chet Morton acquire an unusual Chinese junk named the Hai Hau, a small sailing vessel with a mysterious past. The boat quickly becomes the center of a series of strange incidents, including thefts, suspicious strangers, and clues suggesting that someone is desperately interested in its history. The boys soon discover that the junk may be connected to a long-standing mystery involving valuable property and a group of criminals who will stop at nothing to recover it.

As Frank and Joe investigate, they follow a trail of clues that takes them from Bayport's waterfront to more dangerous encounters on land and water. Their determination and ingenuity help them uncover the secret behind the Chinese junk while exposing the people responsible for the deception and attempted theft. The story combines the Hardy Boys' usual detective work with boating adventures, hidden clues, and plenty of suspense.

Condition: The book is in very good condition.  The cover has some very light wear on a couple of the corner tips. There are 3 letters 'HI4" written on the inside of the back cover.  The inside pages are in excellent condition with no writing, marks, or creases (see last photo).
