The book is in overall good condition. The cover has some light wear on the covers, and there are small discoloration marks on the back (see photos) . The front and back hinges are partially cracked but there are no loose pages (see photos). The interior pages are all intact and in very good condition with very minor yellowing from age. No dust jacket.

Synopsis: The Mystery of Black Eagle Island is an adventure story centered around a group of six children spending their summer on Black Eagle Island.  These youngsters, with the oldest being only 13, find themselves drawn into a thrilling mystery. Strange events pique their curiosity: sightings of mysterious people and even a kidnapping set the stage for the  children to become junior detectives.  Despite their young age, they demonstrate surprising resourcefulness as they work to unravel the secrets of Black Eagle Island.
