The New We Come And Go by William S. Gray, A. Sterl Artley, May Hill Arbuthnot, illustrated by Eleanor Campbell. This is the first "pre-primer" book in the "New Basic Readers" children's reader series.  Copyright 1951, published by Scott Foresman and Company, in 1951 and printed in the U.S.A..   Softcover book, 48 printed pages, 8 1/4" x 6" (210mm x 152mm).

The classic "Dick and Jane" elementary school readers that were used to teach children how to read. The last page has instructions for teachers on how to use the book with students.

The book is in fair condition and shows some wear.  See photos. The front cover has initials written on it and some light smudges/stains., and a small dogear crease on the top right corner. The back cover has a small 1/4" tar on the left edge and some wear on the bottom left corner.  The spine binding cover has wear at the top and bottom. The inside pages are in overall good condition but several of the pages have some light stains or smudges.
