Late 1950's chrome postcard showing The Sands "A Place In The Sun" resort hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. The Sands operated from 1952 to 1996 when it was demolished. Crime boss Meyer Lansky owned a share of the hotel in its early days, and its Copa Room attracted entertainers like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, the Rat Pack, and Jerry Lewis.
