Late 1930's linen postcard showing The Shelburne Hotel, beach, and boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The Shelburne was located at Michigan Avenue and The Boardwalk.  The hotel got its start as a boarding house in the mid 1800's before becoming on of the most glamorous hotels in Atlantic City.  The 200 foot tall tower section was built in the 1920's.  Presidents Ulysses S. The card is a C.T. Art-Colortone card made by Curt Teich & Co, Chicago, and printed in the U.S.A.
